Tautog

Beginning in 2023, the fishery will be subject to a slot limit of 16" to 21" with an allowance for each angler to retain one trophy fish measuring greater than 21" each day.

Bag limit varies by season:

• April 1 to May 31 bag limit = 3 Tautog per person; minimum size = 16-inches, only 1 tautog per person may be greater than 21-inches total length.
• June 1 to July 31 bag limit = 1 Tautog per person; minimum size = 16-inches.
• August 1 to October 14 bag limit = 3 Tautog per person; minimum size = 16-inches, only 1 tautog per person may be greater than 21-inches total length
• October 15 to December 31 bag limit = 5 Tautog per person; minimum size = 16-inches, only 1 tautog per person may be greater than 21-inches total length
